Choosing your perfect wedding dress
To make sure you feel as fabulous as possible, you’ll need to choose a dress that suits your shape, so it flatters you and accentuates your best parts. As the choice of wedding dresses and styles available can be overwhelming, our expert team of bridal assistants can give you some useful advice on what will really suit your shape.
It’s worth being flexible – you might have your heart set on a certain style you’ve seen in a magazine, but if you try it on and it doesn’t feel quite right, be open minded and try on a few different styles until you find the one that makes you feel amazing.
Consider the venue and style of your wedding too – for example if you’re getting married on a beach something strapless and floaty would be better, as you want to make sure you’re as comfortable as possible on your big day. If your venue has lots of steps, a tight fishtail dress might be too restrictive.
When you try a wedding dress on, it’s worth sitting down in it too so you know you’ll be comfy when you have your meal, and that you can breathe properly!
And lastly, do consider the best people to take with you – someone who will give you an honest opinion, whose advice you trust, without having strong opinions about what they like would be a great help.
